Dominic West receives Dublin 1660-1860
Liberties Press is very excited and delighted to hear that the star of the hit TV show The Wire, Dominic West, was recently gifted a copy of the Special Edition Dublin 1660-1860: The Shaping of a City, following his wedding. Dominic West, who played Detective Jimmy McNulty in The Wire as well as Hollywood films such as 300, Chicago, and Mona Lisa Smile.
West is an English actor who originally attended Eton College, before moving to Trinity College, Dublin, to study English literature. It was at Trinity, he met his now-wife, Catherine Fitzgerald - daughter of the Knight of Glin, and it is on the occasion of their wedding that Dublin 1660-1860: The Shaping of a City has been given to them.
