Happy Birthday Maurice Craig!
Maurice Craig was born in Belfast in 1919, 90 years ago this year. Known as an 'Ireland's first conservation warrior', his first published work is the title Dublin 1660 - 1860: The Shaping of a City, first published in 1952.
To celebrate his birthday, Liberies Press have commissioned a special edition. Priced at €90, this edition is a magnificent hardback book. Each book is numbered and signed by Maurice. All images have been re-scanned ensuring crisp, clean pictures portraying the Customs House, the Four Courts, and Kildare House, among many more.
