Absolute Zero Cool was launched in The Gutter Bookshop, Dublin by crime writer John Connolly. Declan's numerous crime contemporaries and friends attended, including, John Banville, Arlene Hunt, Declan Hughes and Alan Glynn.

|September started with the publication of a collection of short stories by Benedict Kiely. Selected Stories brings together the best of Ben Kiely's much-loved writing. |
Selected Stories was launched in The Gutter Bookshop, Dublin by Gerald Dawe. Gerald said that Selected Stories is a collection for this generation because Ben was a writer ahead of his time, confirming Colum McCann's statement that 'Ben Kiely was - and therefore is - one of the great voices of 20th century literature'.
Maurice Craig is best known as an architectural historian however he was, among many other things, a celebrated and gifted poet. Poems, selected and edited by Andrew Carpenter is a wonderful testimony to that.
Poems was launched at the Royal Irish Academy, Dublin with Maurice's family and friends, including his son Michael and daughter Catherine. The 'Museum of Maurice' was a wonderful addition, with guests perusing the ecletic items on display, such as old suitcases, model boats, an abundance of books and a jumper made out of dog hair!

On 29th October Michael D. Higgins was elected the 9th President of Ireland. An exciting day for Michael D. and his family, we released Renewing The Republic, a collection of academic and political essays and speeches, to mark the occassion!
